Windshield Washer sprayer wires

Do the wires from the sprayers need to run to the bottom of the pump? I am referring to a pair of red and black wires running from the spray nozzle. I notice the mechanic left them unattached and taped up in a neat bundle. I don' hear the buzz from the pump when I try t spray my windshield. I notice another plug unplugged near the headlight wires but I believe that is the parking light wire and adapter.

I'm guessing you have some of those ghetto led nozzles from the previous owner.
There shouldn't be any wires coming from the hood, only hoses that carry the windshield washer fluid.

Make a photobucket account and upload some pics and we can tell you for sure.
