I have the sensen struts from apxauto on eBay. $100 for all four and love them.

They are not quick struts though.

I just did all four of mine with complete Strut Assemblies.

Delivered, they were just over $400.

I used Moog Strut assemblies and couldn't be happier. They got me back close to that new car ride. I'll be doing the rest of the suspension to finish the job. Mostly Moog hardware and/or Energy Suspension Bushings.

Moog has an EXCELLENT reputation when you go with their "Problem Solver" series.

Probably the best extra 50% you can spend!

I bought a set of quick struts off amazon i think - they didnt fit right into the mounting holes and the mount bearings blew in a couple days cause they were not greased.

Even if you bought them youd want to take them apart and check it all anyway.

and on mine the the warranty was also only good with a receipt from an ASAE Certified mechanic doing the installation.

Did you see this?

I'd pass on them.

Do the Senens if you're trying to save some money! Invest into good Raybestos or Moog strut mount and bumpstops....You'll be happier!

These are even cheaper than your quick struts by a few bucks! I wonder about the quality and fitment

They're being sold at a Foriegn Auotpart store here in Houston and their quality looks ok and the retailer has had good customer feedback as well...Next flip I do, I'll equip it with SenSens myself...

The Wizard 12-10-2014 12:25 AM

Sensens and what mounts/components and springs would you use on your next flip?

asand1 12-10-2014 05:33 AM

I live on the central Oregon coast with very mild weather and no salt on the roads. My springs and mounts were still in great shape on the OEM struts so I reused them with great success.

I bought a set for my 96 I30 when I had it from macautopartsdiscounts on ebay. Here is their current listing
I loved them, but only drove them for about 20k mi before selling the car. no issues with install or parts themselves.

I would reuse my OEM springs but I don't have that luxury. This I30t I picked up for peanuts has cut springs and blown shocks/struts. I'm starting from scratch.
