So i ordered a quick strut online for my driver side rear and it just didnt fit , the new one was shorter than the old one and even the mount was fitting up top ? I called the company and they verified that its the right part ..

What brand and part number?

I just did mine (both) and had to push the torsion beam area down to line up the bolt to pass through. IOW, with the suspension hanging, the extended strut assembly was easily that long.

I used Moog and they were great to work with and gave me that original ride back.

Are you replacing the same part number and manufacturer that's on now?

Got a picture of them side by side?

had this happen myself – the top bolts were too wide to fit in the holes. Long term i just swapped the top piece from the original and it lined up again.

I'm not surprised...If you wanna save some coin try the SenSen and install either Moog or Raybestos strut mounts and bumpstops!!!
