so, the lights are working, but the guy used benz projectors with clips that hold on the hid bulbs and a piece of the projector broke off that holds the bulb in place. this was done over 5 years ago and he's not a member anymore, so i essentially had to zip tie the bulb into place and the aim sucks now. don't know what else to do, i was told it's not a fixable item and i'd have to do another setup or jb weld that side into place permanently. ideas, suggestions, place to find another retrofit used or for a decent price. chris, chime in, i'm open for suggestions.

 

Hmm, maybe you can try posting on Hidplanet for help. Do you have any pictures of the clip area? Also, are the projectors mounted using jb weld or brackets/screws?

 

Do you have the piece that broke off? If you do you can jb weld it back on, if this is too hard for you maybe a local member can help out.

 

nope, it fell on the road in the rain, dammit!!! it's zipped tied in place right now, i'm helping planes land as the beam is far right and up.

 

Benz...if it's h1 u can buy the Benz h1 bulb holder...
