ECU Pin connection to EVAP Canister Vent Valve
For my 96 SE with 5 speed manual. I have a ECU code 0304 (P0446). That shows up after driving for about 15 to 40 minutes after clearing the codes. I have checked most other possible leads. I am trying to check on the wiring connection between the evap canister vent control valve to the ECU. The valve unit has pin 2 (12V with ignition on position). The valve is actuated with pin 1 getting pulled to ground by the ECU. I am trying to find the ECU pin # that controls the evap vent control valve pin 1.
I have see the ECU pinouts posted by others, but non has specified this specific connection.
I have searched for this info many times on this forum and web in general with many search word combinations, but no luck. I would appreciate any help.

It is pin 70 of the ecu.

See page 235 for the valve diagram.
See page 8 for the ECU connector pin layout.
The drawing is when you are looking at the ECU while it is in the car. The drawing shows pin 101 in the top left corner and that is the top left corner as you look at it in the car.

Yes. I have replaced the valve. Tested the evap system pressure sensor, and checked the hoses also. I've read all the forum threads on ecu code 0304 (p0446) that I could find. I've only seen a couple of threads mention the possible wiring failure but no detail on what pin at the ecu to check for continuity.
