Pulling to the right?

Every time I'm driving my steering wheel seems to pull to the right. Sometimes it's a soft pull and other times it can be a hard pull. I'm not too sure what me be the problem but I beleive it could be my brakes. Has anybody had this problem before? Does anybody know what could be causing the pull? Thanks!

I have the same problem, but its ever so slight, and perhaps its my alignment. I don't know about the status of your alignment, but I am gonna try to get it realigned soon. Perhaps a rotor, or a stuck caliper on one side may be pulling you over. Definitely want to take a look at that.

I don't beleive it's my alignment. My car has 23,000 miles and I've had it aligned three times already. My last alignment was about 10 months ago when I had it lowered. Like you said It could be a rotor, or a stuck caliper. If you get an alignment soon let me know if the pulling has gone away. If I get a chance soon to get it checked out, then I'll let you know. If anybody else has had this problem or knows something please post. Thanks!

Well I got new tires about a year ago. Why? Could there be a problem with the tires?

Definitely the things to look into...brakes, alignment, tires. It might have been the brakes to start, but it you let it go long enough you could end up with uneven tire wear. Check out those rotors and calipers so you don't end up needing new tires too.

Mine does the same thing very slightly. Got new tires.... New Brake pads...and a Alignment. Still does it. No strange ware on any parts though. It must be a bushing.

If it only does it when you brake its because your rotors need to be turned. not your alignment

This may sound really stupid ..... but you might want to drive on a two lane highway. If you drive on the right lane, you may find it pulls to the right. If you move to the overtake lane, you should find it pulls to the left ... that's purely the camber on the road. If it still pulls in the same direction in both lanes, it will probably be your wheel alignment. you might also want to check your tires for uneven wear ...that's another sign of alignment problems

If the pull happens to be on one side only when you brake, it could be a stuck piston in the calliper. If it pulls to the right, it's the left caliper and vice-versa.

Let us know what you find

Well it aint my brakes and it isn't my alignment? Brakes were checked and they seem just fine. Alignment was done but the car still pulls to the right. The mechanic told me and showed me that the problem is the outer Tirodes. They are too loose and need to be replaced. He said it's better to replace them every 3 years. For the parts and labor he wanted $260. I don't know ifhe's BSing me but he might be right. But just in case I am going to have my freind look at it in a week or so. Most likely I'm going to replace the Tirodes and I'll let you know if the car is still pulling to the right. Also after replacing Tirodes you have to get an alignment.
