Just my $0.02
I agree on this, but also, how easy is it for someone to graft them shut? That would look pretty badass. Go sterling mist!

Hopefully more performance stuff will come in time. Especially if it raises NA power.

yes we asked for more stuff to be made, but we didnt ask for rice.
just look at the pictures, can you see the culture clash between the stillen kit and the fast and furisous-inspired side ducts?
no offense, the more stuff the merrier, but really, what happened to stuff actually looking GOOD?

not that i want to get into the rice vs. non-rice, or show vs. go argument but in sticking with the reasoning that if you want z-3 fenders by a z-3 and the same with altezzas, then doesn't that also mean if you want to drive a fast car then by a sports car instead of a sedan and trying to make it as fast as a sports car??????

most people on the org are sane enough to know that the maxima will never be a sports car, its just plain and simple. but what we do know is that we can do little things to make it go a little faster. what we dont want to do is little things to make it look more like a z3 or altezza (most of us), thats just like the integra kids putting in prelude tail lights or s14 head lights. we want originality, or at least i do

i dont know, i guess that doesnt make sense *shrug*

I think it makes sence. But the reason why is because you have a car that your proud of and enjoy doing things to it. Some people like going fast, thats there thing, others like to look good and have no intrest in speed, and then theres various mixes in the middle thats my point. So to say that if you see something on another car that you like you should just buy the whole car, even if you can get it for your car, doesn't make sence to me. I tend to go with the theory "different strokes for different folks". I've heard lots of people say this to the anti-altezza crowd many different ways but for some reason it doesn't get through to some people.

I disagree

I actually like the fenders but wish there was a little more function over fashion. The vents would have been a nice way to open the fenders up and feed more air to your CAIs. I also think that it makes the Maxima a little more aggressive. This is something that it needs to stand out from the grandma luxo-sedan crowd. If you are going to make it fast, make it look fast too. Someone mentioned that if you want to look like a Z3 then buy a Z3. I don't think it looks like a Z3 at all. Sarona did a great job of giving the Maxima its own distinct, aggressive look. I think the fenders will look better on a darker color car though. It doesn't go well with the Stillen kit, however, it does go well with a Sarona kit. I wouldn't use either kit. I think the Maxima looks good without one.

you are completely right.

i mean, I love z3 fenders, I never said I didnt want them for the maxima, hell I do! BUT these fenders are a little TOO extremem for the maxima, it just doesnt fit well at all, maybe once we get a more extreme kit for the maxima, but for now, just the z3 vents will be perfect. just take a long look at those fenders, after about a minute come back here and seriously tell me those 2 scoops arent out of place, please, do it. then go see someone with just the z3 vents (theres one guy on the org with custom fenders), youll see a hell of a difference.

i agree with you mozy, im not crazy about them either im just trying to figure out why when some of these people who don't like something like the altezza or maybe these, they go to all the threads about what they hate. Im not into hid's and fogs and all this light stuff so i don't even read the thread. Let alone go out of my way to tell people how much i hate what they like. But if theres a reason why its done, im open to hearing it. BTW, this isn't in regard to any one person.

My Z3 fenders for the Maxima will be done soon. These look exactly like Wayne's, (Nizmolee's) car. I had some problems with the manufacturer I went with delaying things (these have been in the pipeline since october), but they will be done very soon. Price will be $310+shipping. Keep in mind that these are just 4 gill Z3 fenders, no other vents.

How could those vents not functional?

Looks like they are right by where a CAI would be? Unless there isn't an actual opening? It might not force the air in, but vents are there.

just to want to clarify that i didn't think sprint white rims on white maxima was rice. i said i don't think so, which mean i don't think it's rice. iirc, sprint posted on some board before and people there were saying his car was rice because of the white rims on white maxima. why would i think it's rice? i like it actually because white rims on white maxima is the only good looking combo.

for the idiot who emailed me, next time read more carefully before you open you mouth.

geez...seriously, some people just can't read. if you didn't understand, you could of ask me to clarify.

I was thinking about getting the Sarona body kit over summer. It looks cool, but is it a piece of garbage? Is it thinner than the stock bumpers? Can you please let me know what you think of it since you have it. I don't want to buy it on looks alone. Do you have any cracks in the front bumper?

Kit looks great, but it is terrible in quality and strength. It took my body shop two days to get the kit to fit right, and that's not including painting time. And my back bumper cracked 1 week after installing the kit. Then Sarona had the nerve to tell everyone that I was happy with the kit and that it fit great. This was after I called them to complain about the kit.

After you complained did anyone at Sarona help out or did they just blow you off?

I'm thinking of getting the Sarona kit but lately if been hearing bad things about it. Shadow, If you had to do it all over again would you still buy the kit.

thanks
