Help!!!!

Somebody please help! Here's what's going on....first I always had a bad ignition switch but never fixed it because I had "the touch" to start it up for having my car for so many years. My fathers car broke down so he borrowed mine, I told him how to start it but he didn't listen then it came to the point I couldn't even start it, so I now changed my ignition switch....NOW, once the car turns over it stalls in 3 seconds. At one point it completely died, all electric EVEN when jumping it. So I got a new battery....starts then stalls....now here's a list of what I have done and STILL no progress!!!!
1-reset ecm
2- new fuel filter
3- checked fuel pump (good)
4- changed fuel pump relay
5- changed anti theft relay
6- CHECKED all relays
7- new ground
8- prayed to God !
I'm lost!!!!

Have you checked for codes?

What year is the car?

Unplug the MAF sensor and see it it starts.

Sorry I forgot to mention its a 98 maxima lol. Well I already erased the codes, I know that was stupid but I didn't think to check the codes because my thoughts have been that it's the NATS and I figured it wouldn't come up anyway....and yes The security light is on but it is always on.....i've been asked about the reprogramming of the key before but my key doesn't have a chip in it so does it still need to be reprogrammed? Also I heard about the M AF sensor I'm going to try that once I get home from work....thanks guys

Chip keys started with the 99 models. You are lucky in that regard.

The new ignition switch is probably faulty.

Ok so I tried the MAF sensor, I unplugged it and my car runs, I don't know why that all the sudden was an issue though when it wasn't before....but is it my connection or the actual MAF? I had continuity on the MAF, I tried checking volts on connectors but I couldn't fit them meter in, and no paper clips to use lol

the MAF went bad on you. Being able to start the engine with the MAF unplugged is a way of testing it. The only thing you can do is replace it.

What brand of MAF did you purchase?

There are some faulty aftermarket MAFs on the market. Since I can't rely on an aftermarket MAF, I try to get a used OEM from a junk yard then test it as soon as I get home or before I leave the place.

Our cars seem to be picky about parts that communicate with the ECU.

This is normal behavior. Track down a good used OEM MAF. Pass on Autozone, PepBoys etc etc.
