1999 to 1995 ecu swap questions

OK so I have to do the ecu swap since my nats is apparently "Broken" according to our wounderful stealership in London (SouthLondon Nissan) and would cost atleast $2000 to diagnose the problem.

SO

My questions after doing lots of searching and reading,

will I damage anything by just lifting up the white tab and pulling on the wires very hard? I've done it with a practice harness and it seems to work.

and

" Fuel Pump Relay - switch B/P wire from 117 to 11. " what colors are the wires for pin 117 and 11? (I think my 11 is blank but I'm not 100%)

Why on earth would you "pull on the wires very hard"? After you remove the white plastic cap, you simply unbolt it (one bolt) and the harness comes right off the ECU very easily. Pulling on the wires could damage stuff. Not smart.

Hes talking about moving the pins around for the swap. A pinning tool is ideal, but just make sure the white tab pulled all the way up before yanking on the wires.
