EGR Tube clogged
Getting ready to do both my 97 and 98 Maxima clogged EGR tubes. My only concern is, has anyone had issues with one of the top 2 or bottom 2 bolts breaking, and if so any solutions or suggestions. Thanks

I didn't have any problems on my 97. But maybe you could spray them with PB Blaster before you start and use a six point socket.
There are no guarantees that you will or will not have problems. |

Maxforever - Not the manifold just the tube between EGR and intake, 2 bolts in top flange and 2 in bottom.
All you that have not had a problem with bolts snapping did you do any kind of special prep before wrenching down on these bolts? I have always used wd40, is the rust buster spray the same or any better? Thanks again. |
