Lumbar Support

Hey I have a 1997 Maxima SE-L and was wondering if anyone else felt discomfort when driving for extended periods of time. I go to college about 400 miles away from home and always take trips back and forth. I noticed that my lower back would always hurt.

Have you guys ever found a solution for this problem? I've looked on amazon for a lumbar support cushion of some sort but cannot decide on what to buy.

Looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You know that the lumbar is adjustable, right? I don't know about your model, but on mine there's a lever on the right side of the seat back.

Yup i have it all the way out. It doesn't seem to really help though. Without it the seat just sucks straight up lol.

I had surgery on my spinal cord and what was helpful was using an inflatable lumbar cushion, you can change the amount of inflation by opening the valve like a camping pad.

Thing I have looks like this

No idea what brand, I got it from Healthy Back Store, was like $30.

SE-L's weren't made until the 1999 model.
Consider the adjustable, inflatable support as mentioned above.

Its pretty comfortable for a normal seat but i think its too clunky for cars. Thinking about returning it and getting the inflatable lumbar support. Thanks for the response guys.
