Cv axles are leaking

My driver side axle is leaking quite a bit and will probably replace both.... My question is should I purchase used oem from junkyard/ eBay or new and which brand.. Also are leaks resolved by replacing the boot or other parts?

autozone sells a kit to repair boots and comes with grease as well. My driver side axle was making grinding noise sometimes and I just bought a speediboot grease pack from autozone for 2.00 and it fixed my axle.

I would not buy a used axle from anywhere. You have no idea how much life is left in it.

Rebuilt axles are better, but I have always bought new axles.
