Yes, I do believe the SE-L mats fit into the 97. I bought an extra set of plain maxima mats and put them into my SE-L. They were the exact same size.

I recently tried using oxyclean on oil stains and it worked fantastically. I inadvertently set my toolbox (with a greasy oily bottom) on my floor mat recently while working on the stereo. At any rate, oxyclean cleaned it right up with NO scrubbing. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it.

Where--check your local walmart.

Yes, they will fit. Same size and shape as your old ones.

Re: Re: Floor Mat Question

I hose them down with garden hose
then sun-dry them once in a while.

I have tan interior as well. I use Armor All Carpet and Upholstry cleaner. It's only like 5.99 a can, and it works wonders. Good Luck

Go to Walmart and pick up the black heavy duty truck like ones with the deep crevices. They are very good, and clean easy, also they are really well made and don't tear. This will help to protect your carpets from the unwanted yuk! Just an FYI good luck 96se 161,500 miles.

Yeah! Get some truck mats!

Err... truck mats in the Max--not in this max. Especially when mats can be had for less than $100 easily.

No offense Steve. Grin
