Transmission jerking after replacing fuel injector
96 I30 automatic VLSD RE4F04V
I replaced a fuel injector for cylinder #4, using the OEM Bosch, and the engine runs great. But, when the trans is cold, the 1-2 shift is very hard until the car warms up.
CEL is on, code P0732. Fluid is nice and red like it should be, and I last changed it about 6 months ago, using Maxlife ATF.
It won't upshift until around 25 mph when cold.
The last time something like this happened was when I had a bad knock sensor, which was 3 months ago. Once I replaced it, the car was fine again.

I'll leave the cure to those who are familiar with A/T.

Agreed, it doesn't sound like injectors or KS.
If it's just a hard shift, check the drop resistor. But if the problem is the delayed 1-2 shift, I had that problem a while back (although I don't remember temperature affecting it). I had to replace the tranny solenoids to fix it, which I posted about here: https://maxima.org/forums/4th-genera...ml#post8460972
It wasn't that big of a job, but it's messy and you're on your back a lot, so you probably want to wait for other suggestions first...
EDIT: I just reread your post. I'd spend some time researching the P0732 code before doing anything else. Looks like there are a few things about it online.

Update and another question
I never replaced it because it hadn't been acting too bad until just recently. But now it's occurring more frequently. Plus, I've finally gotten some TPS-related codes, P0120 and P1705
I've seen the TSB's about the TPS
NTB98-024a, a revised TPS from the later models 97+ pn. 22620-3M200 (has since been superseded by 22620-4M510)
and
NTB99-053b, the new adjustment procedure with the feeler gauge
Both the original and revised part numbers are still available, as well as their aftermarket equivalents. My question is, is there any reason to use the original TPS instead of the new part number? The newer one is also cheaper.
I'm inclined to buy the newer TPS as of now, but I'm all ears to any arguments against doing so, and going with the original.
Original pn. 22620-31U16, aftermarket equivs Beck/Arnley 158-0633 Delphi SS10495
vs
New pn. 22620-4M510, aftermarket B/A 158-0609
