Front suspension questions...

Today got a bad vibration on driver side front...being I don't have abs and have a CAI...I can see most of the suspension pretty easily...I replaced the sway bar bushings in mid summer and end links...ok...now onto the problem...when I push the car back and forth I can see the LCA moving back and forth in the rear bushing of the LCA...so I'm going to assume it needs to be replaced...when I look down at my sway bar bushing I can see it's smashed out of the retainer...my question is will a bad LCA cause pressure on the endlink and sway bar bushing causing them to wear prematurely? Thanks in advance

I suppose theoritically yes because every time a bushing moves, it is wearing a tiny bit. But for the most part no. Those are probably the originals and dry rot is setting in.

When the LCA has travel in ways it's not meant to go, anything even somewhat connected gets tear. AND/OR.... Add a little over tightening possibly on the sway bar retainer nuts (but highly unlikely) and over compress the rubber bushings or (more likely), they weren't seated properly and/or lubed properly, and that adds to the recipe.

I used Moog Problem Solver LCA's and Moog End Links and couldn't be happier! I did however use ES sway bar bushings! Everything is still nice a year later!

I hope this helps!
