Offset and Backspacing??

I'm looking at getting some wheels with a +35 offset and backspacing. They're 17 x 8. Will these fit on a 97??? I called the dealer to findout the offset/ backspacing of the stock wheels and the guy was a jerk. He told me to "go find it on my own" Jerk! Anyway, any help would be great.

Try using search. It "sounds" like those would fit though.

But then again, telling you they should fit is 100% different than actually shelling out the $$ and finding out.

Depends. Hub size is important (ie Lexus wheels need to be machined to fit)..

in general:

5x114.3 (aka 5x4.5)
+38-42 (for original fitting or so)

You can fit +35 no problem, but it might stick out a lil. KevWong's got 17x8 Integrals, +32.. just somethin to base off, tho the suggested is +38-42

Again, if the hub is machined too small.. it wont fit no matter what offset you have

Cool, thanks. The bolt patter is 5x114.3 (same as Mustang, GTP, many others...). Thanks for all the help OgreDave! I'll post pics in a couple weeks when they're on. Thanks again.

No biggie, just hope the hub fits the same, or at least you can buy the lil plastic hub adapters from whoever sold the wheels to you. (or wherever they were originally bought) But the lug pattern and the offset should be fine.
