Just checking in...

Man, it's been almost 6 years since I had a Maxima. Randomly decided to login to see if I had any PM's (and I did). So, figured I'd post up and see if how many from the OG crew was still around (I do see that Nealoc and even my old friend Rit etc. seem to still be around).

I have a 2011 Infiniti M56x now (see signature), but some days I miss my 4th gen to the point that I want to pick up another.

What's a mint 4th gen going for these days? Is there such a thing? That car was so much easier to work on then my 2007 Infiniti M35x (previous car) and my current M56x. These cars have so many computers lol.

Here was my old 4th gen: https://maxima.org/forums/4th-genera...maxima-se.html

I'm helping someone near your location. The car supposedly has less rust than normal. Looks pretty bad by my standards.

Get a rust free car. Unbeatable for what they sell for these days.

It's hard to find em in the northeast but I have seen some rust free for $2500ish.

Would be cool to see you back in the game. Your Max was an inspiration back when I had my CG2.

Mint Max's (no rust) go for $2,500-$4,000 locally. You could easily pick up one with decent miles for $1500-$2,500. Just get a 4th gen for a DD & mod the crap out of your M56x & bike!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, that's the ballpark price I was figuring they'd be in this day and age. Good to see they hold their values.

Thanks Chris, good to see you still around here as well!

I would keep that M56x nice. Those are rare cars. Based on the fun I've had with my G50 (VH45) over the years, I can only imagine how much fun a nice M56x would be to own. Maybe someday.

Just as an fyi, most of us are on facebook. There's a Maxima.org group and a 4th Gen Maxima group as well. A smaller group of us have infiltrated most of the other Max groups as well, to help weed out the riff raff.

The Wizard is still here! Haha. Long time sir.

I use FB for personal stuff although I've started to subscribe to more groups.

I still prefer forums (I'm the moderator the Y50 and Y51 Infiniti M forums on NICOClub.com) for car and bike stuff though.

Now, YOU, sir are a blast from the past.

You ain't kiddin, looks like a lot of people are still here just lurkers (due to perhaps not owning the car anymore). I'd definitely love to get into one again in the next 2-3 years (looking at buying a house right now, etc. so no money for extra cars lol).
