To everyone that is interested in buying a 95/96 Grille from me.... look inside

I have come up with some plans to get these made from a mold so that they will be perfectly molded and cut when they arrive at your door. I will need a minimum of 10 orders to cover the cost of materials, mold costs... etc. I will also send the bottom two inlets if you would like those also. When I ship it to you, I will provide you with the neccesary wire to attach it to your grille. Ill also give you some instructions. Pricing will be 35 for just the top grille and 40 for the top grille and bottom two inlets. As for payment, I think most of you have PayPal so ill get that going.. and if you prefer something else, we can work that out. Please feel free to post any comments/suggestions.

EDIT: Here are details and pictures... http://www.geocities.com/toastedude/grillesales.html

Thanks,
Tyler

So is this going to be a batch of ten, then you're done, or will it be ten to start, then built as needed? I would love one, especially for that price, but I can't get in till summer. I guess what I'm asking is if ten people get it now, will I be able to order one come summer?

to be honest it looks really nice and the craftsmanship also looks good. But to me the mesh does not flow with the rest of the car. imo you cant have mesh in just one spot, it has to be accecnted through out the car, so as not to get lost in the front. Regardless of what i think i know they will sell.......good luck with your endevour.

Are the lower two openings the same size for the 97-99? I think the mesh looks a lot better with the edges folded over, I am going to try it try it on my Maxima. If the lower openings are the same size, how much would you sell the lower two pieces for?

Looks great, I envy you 95-96 guys.

Yes, I'm looking at it right here it's the same one.

Pay 7 bucks at home depot and do it myself or buy it off off this guy??? Easy, do it myself and with the money I saved buy other mods..

I think to get it to look as good as his you would probably have to work on it for most of A day, and it still might not look as good.

If you just want it to look OK from a distance then it's probably easy to do in an hour or two. If saving $30 or so is worth a whole days work that would be your decision.

They look great and I've all ready done this to mine. Just curious: have you thought about how you'd ship em? That mesh bends pretty easy. Good luck and they look great.

to answer your questions:

-I think it would look great on a beige max.
-They will be exactly like the ones in the pictures. It is the grille on my car.
-Not sure on shipping right now, but im working on it.
-The 97-99 have a different grille than the 95-96 do. If there is enough demand for the 97-99 I will make them too.

I need a definite 10 orders to start making these just because I dont want to lose out on money. I'm sure I can get them, 'cause ive had at least 10 people email me asking me if i could make them one.

Easy, I wasn't trying to make you mad. If you have the ability to make something that looks that nice and enjoy doing it that's great. But many people don't have the ability (like me) and would have to spend a lot of time to get it to look good and would rather spend a little money to avoid the hassel. Didn't mean to offend you.

I have a 97 SE, how much for the front grill I just bought a new grill after the accident the same as the stock grill? Anyway I'm willing to give you $40 dollars for a custom grill? What material are you using stainless steel? Get back to me. infidelity@mindspring.com. I'm like 3,000 in debt so after I get done modding this car I think I'm going to be living in it.

I have a brand new stock grill that I bought a week ago for my 97 SE. It will fit any 4th generation maxima, the grill is brand new, never even got a chance to put it on yet. If anyone wants to make me an offer I'm willing to sell it and get a custom grill from this guy. By the way, I paid 114 dollars for it when I purchased it several days ago. I'm willing to let it go for 100 and 5 dollar shipping. If so, I can pay him to make me the custom grill. All payments via www.paypal.com, check or money order. Thank You, David.

first, your grill wont really fit all 4th gens... 97 and newers.. there is a fitment dif between years. 2nd the mesh is an OVERLAY, you need the stock grill behind it... ive done the same thing. looks good OVER the stock grill.

i wasted so much trying to make these
with the first home depot mesh i bought i spent 2 hours cutting that **** slicing my hands on the wire and usuing zap straps to hold it in place and it looked horrible.
then a month later i tried it again cut my hands up all over again and spent an hour doing it but it looks so good
