Help finding Guage backers
Hi there!
I have a 98 Infiniti i30 and I am getting ready to replace all the lights with LED, wrap the cheap looking fake wood and upgrade the head unit.
My question is, does anybody know where I can find the white gauge backgrounds used in the Maxima? Mine is black with white numbers but I like the white better.
I have tried looking for them but can't seem to find them, maybe I'm not looking right. My cluster is the one with the smaller fuel gauge on the left, larger speedo and tach, then smaller temp on the right with digital odometer.
Forgot to add, I don't won't the indigo Guage or anything like that just standard OEM looking Guages
Thanks!

You'll need to pick up an SE cluster with similar mileage as what you have. SE gauges are white with black lettering.
Post a WTB here in the Classifieds section and look on Ebay.

I have an SE-L cluster from a '99, and you don't need to match the mileage - just move the new round meters into your gauge and then you keep your mileage. It is a bit time consuming, but fun ! Not all that difficult if you are meticulous. If you are in a hurry and rush into things - then don't do it !
If there aren't videos for it, I can probably walk you through it. Or, I may have written a description on the Forum - at least 10 years ago - timeless !
