Replacing head unit, stupid question about wiring

So my head unit went out on my 98 Infiniti i30, it's the Bose/Clarion unit. I looked up how to replace it, and made sure I got the correct harness for the Bose unit.

My problem is, when I pulled the head unit out there is an extra wire I wasn't expecting, it's black and plugs in right next to the two square white plugs, looks like a DIN plug with 6 pins.

I haven't seen this plug on any guides, and it's not there on a lot of pictures of the back of the unit. What is this one for and what do I do with it? The harness I bought does not accommodate thus plug nor have, I seen one that does.

Thanks!

Do you have the OEM disc changer mounted below the Head, or in the trunk?

That cable is for the optional 6 disc CD changer.
