Hi. I just got a price of $150.00 to install my UDP on my Automatic Maxima. This price includes new belts and 1 1/2hr install price. Is this a good price?

Labor varies state to state but about $50-$60 an hour is normal. $35-$45 is good.

So if they are charging $60 an hour it sounds high to me , I would think the belt would be $15-$20.. Thus ending up about $110.

But I am guessing. What is the Hourly rate? And how much for belts? Any place that does not break down parts and labor I would not go to. Unless you getting it for the LOW LOW

 

They want $30 for the belts, and $80 per hour.
BTW...this is Unorthodox Racing who gave me the price quote...it's their product so I think they know what they are doing...I was just wondering if the price was high.

$80 per hour is a bit high....$60 is the average. I can't see that job taking more than an hour. If they have to remove the starter, then maybe. But if not....then I dunno.
