help w/5 speed conversion

hey guys, i live in WESTERN NEW YORK, BUFFALO and wondering if anyone is in the area to help with a 5 speed conversion, i am an idiot when it comes to tranny's. I see alot of guys who have enthusiasm just to help with process. any takers

the first car i owned was a subaru wagon, soccer mom mobile but it was standard. i took an automatic max because it was all i could find, now i wish i had waited to find one. i figure why not do the swap. it wont cost as much as replacing the tranny when that goes
