New or remanuf'd axles - the good and the bad?

Looking for suggestions on a new or remanufactured axle. I've had experience on another car recently and the new Chinese for that were poor quality and known to break; I went through three "remanufactured" Cardone (Napa, Autozone, others) before I found one with that was good - seems "remanufacturing" these days means cleaning the joints and putting on new boots and grease - there was no parts changing or inspection on the ones I went through.

So, any pointers on what works and hasn't gone bad in a year or two? Reliability is important on this car as it drives long distances in rural areas.

I've had the best success with tough ones from Advance.

Best would be getting OEMs and having them rebuilt.

I thought of that, but I've got a very short time frame to get this done. I might have to go with some one else doing a swap for me.

I suppose I could always get one and rebuild it for another swap later. New factory axles complete are over $500 (discounted) and it looks like CV joints are over $250.

I've had good luck with Napa, but since yours wasn't that great, I don't know.

Maybe you could contact CVJ Reman and see what they say. Too bad Raxles stopped making axles for the 4th gen

Raxles are not the best either. My boots tore after a few years. Their lifetime warranty is **** since they don't produce them anymore. I decided to use Autozone Axles since they are lifetime warranty and local.

I've had no luck using non-OE units new or remanufactured they all produced driveline vibration. Nissan has a value line which is the next best thing to OE. The boots are skimpy but have held up fine otherwise.
