Anyone with indiglo needles

I need a little advice. First off,

Did you mount the LED ring on the top side of the guage face or underneath?

Did you have to shave anything off the needle for clearance?

My guages came with red needles so I got a junkyard cluster from a 96se with white needles. Do I have to paint the bottoms white?

The instrutions say if you have white faced guages you may have to paint the ends of the needles a different color. Is this true?

If any of you could post some pics it would be greatly appreciated. I know someone had indiglo needles w/ reverse indiglo guages. I can't remember who but if you have some pics I'd like to see them.

Thanks guys.

1. On top pf the gauge face underneath the needle cap.
2.No shaving, I left mine a little raised after putting them back for a little clearance.
3.No need, they're already white. You could have just sanded down the bottom of your orange needles to make them clear and then painted them white using some white-out.
4.No need, some people can't see their white needles over their white gauges, you can if this is a problem for you.
5.That'll be me, you can visit my homepage for some pics of my setup. Be sure to rate my car .

Yeah thats them! Thanks man. I just wanted to know what I was in for before I got started. Do you keep the rheostat for you needles all the way up? I tested the kit (not installed) and I noticed that the small leds come on way before the larger ones when the rheostat is turned low. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks again. Check out my page and sign my guestbook!
