My alternator just went bad on my 1996 GLE. It has a 110amp alt. I found a great deal on a freshly rebuilt Hitachi 125amp alt. I was wondering if the clocking was the same on both and will the existing harness need to be changed or do both alternators use the same harness and receiver. Thanks, Jimmy

 

If the alternator is supposed to be for your Maxima, then the wire harness is OK. Nissan only made one wire harness in that respect.
