Y-pipe question..

I will be getting either warpspeed or cattman Y
with my tax return check.

Will I lose low-end H-P, torque ?
How much louder ?
Also, do you keep stock y after you took it off.
What's the reason for keeping it or throw it away.

Thanks

ypipe issues

You will hear a little v-8 grunt if installed properly. If it is coming into contact with anything, you'll hear a very annoying clunking sound.

Most people say that there is no low end loss and there is only gain in mid and upper end.

Keep the stock because the aftermarket ypipes are illegal for the street and in case you have problems with smog checks.

Do a search for anything else. The search feature on this board is marvelous. And by the way, its on the top right hand corner of your computer screen
