I'm sure this has been asked before but Google isn't helping me much.

You can see from the Hayne's picture that the top bolt isn't visible from below.

How in the world do I get a wrench up to that thing? I'm doing both axles, just got started and sprayed down most of the bolts with Kroil.

You need a long skinny 12mm wrench.

I had the socket on a 12" extension, then a u-joint, then a 6" extension.

I just used a ratchet wrench. Piece of cake, or was it pie.

I think I'm gonna go pick one up!

A U joint sounds super cool, but I will try the simple stuff first.

Told the wife I own the garage for the next two weeks so I'm taking this one slow. Got the tie rods off, got the axle nuts off... Driver's side CV axle today I think.

Thanks much!

If you are replacing the axles, it is much easier to disconnect the two bottom and 3 top strut bolts than disconnecting the tie rod. And, it will give you more room to pull out the axle. It should take about 2 hrs. per axle, and it was my 1st time.
