Recommended Coilover drop?
Recommended Coilover drop?
What's a reasonable height for my coilovers height that I plan on installing this weekend? I'm looking for a good stylish look, but not to low where I'm scrapping the ground.
~1.5 in the rear ~1.7 in the front i'd say. i think the front rides ~.2 inches higher by design. Any drop is more stress on your suspension, the more drop the more stress. I'd try that, see how you like it, and decide if you want to go any further. Take into account clearances and things like hitting the bump stops(i think that's what they are, tbh i'm still pretty new when it comes to suspension but i just installed a set of coilovers, have yet to drive on them bc headers back exhaust install, alternator, tune up, nwp spacers, and valve cover gaskets). Most users don't actually have coilovers but just lowering springs and aftermarket struts made for lowering springs, they are usually in the ~1.4 drop range
