Long story before simple question. Studs on my front Chinese manzo eBay header snapped after I've getting my car back from the same ****ty exhaust shop ive now taken it to 5-6 times to have the rear manifold to Y leak fixed which they tried rtv and then exhaust cement which didn't hold up before cutting and welding the pipe. Now I have a front manifold leak bc of a snapped stud, which wasn't there before and they kind of dodged by blaming it on the now ex manager even though I know that stud was fine before and I tried making up for it by tightening the other 2 resulting in another snapped stud. Now I have one stud and the same leak slightly bigger.
To avoid "labor charges" he said I can remove the front header bring it back in and he'll put new studs on for free. But I don't wanna remove all that **** and i just put new coolant in and I don't wanna get all the way there and find out those header nuts are gonna be too stripped to remove.
SO MY QUESTION is, on triangle header and y flanges can I simply avoid the 2broken studs completely and get 3 clamps to go over each side of the flanges and tighten the two together?

If you drill holes through the bolts more than likely they will begin spinning half way through.
I've had this issue once when I attempted to remove cat bolts without supporting the exhaust as I removed the bolts.

As long as I can tighten down and close the gap between those 2 corners this way then I can add rtv/use better gaskets/exhaust cement. But I gotta be able to at least tighten it
What? Hell no especially since they come in a set with the y pipe. They are bolts that are welded on the outside of the flange. 2 of them snapped, exhaust shop told me get the header off and they'd cut out the old ones and put in new studs for free. But I didn't wanna do that so after talking to him again he agreed to try it with the headers on (should be doable to cut off the studs and drill them out and stick new bolts through)
