So im in the process of doing an 00VI swap, I understand the swap fully but i ran into a problem, the connectors for the old injectors dont work with the 5th gen ones, i could not find it anywhere in any write ups about having to change those pigtails, if anyone can give some insight on the situation i'd be thankful!
Also if you have access to egr block off plates please let me know, i cant find the ones I purchased a while ago nor can i find who i bought them from, thanks again!

 

Yeah, I used the 5th gen injectors and therefore I had to cut my original harnesses and solder in the 5th gen injector harnesses. Soldering the wires is pretty straightforward and held up just fine for me.

 

yup when i did mine years ago i used the 5th gen injectors. worked fine.
