OEM is at least $160 - this one is closer to $50. It's supposed to be their professional line and comes with the 4 copper washers.
This is the part: 36-363060

Just seeing if people have personal experience with it since apparently some aftermarket hoses on 5th gens cause a whining sound.

I ordered the GATES 363060 and if you noticed the picture is the same. The gates hose whined like crazy. The problem I believe is the aftermarket hose is a smaller in diameter in the metal ends. I ended up putting my oem hose back on and the whine went away. It was not leaking but I swapped motors and thought it would be wise to put a new hose on when the motor was out....
The other thing besides the noise was the PS hoses hoses were very hot with the Gates hose. Cool to the touch with the OEM hose.

maybe chinese engineering, what ever the thing they make, they think its smart to make it smaller and the american ceo's who buy it to sell to us users, look the other way and dont check functionality. do Gates or denso make that part?
what do indie shops use?
wonder if response at 80 mph is reduced with the small diameter?

Hot was bad. The only way I knew it was running hot was I was having issues with tstat and fan. Kept burning my hand when I was checking the lower rad hose to see if tstat was open.
Using my cheap laser temp = 130 some.... Not even warm to touch with old oem hose.

About the best deal I've found on an OEM hose is $154.56 from Order Infiniti Parts.

Roughly 6 years ago for the 91 G50, I ordered the last known high pressure hoses from a dealer just to have one because they let me know the part was being discontinued. I didn't want to be stuck without that hose. It's a much larger hose than the Maxima hose and I remember paying over $200 for it. I think we will see a day when Nissan stops offering the OEM part -- maybe after 20 years. It disappointing that we don't have an aftermarket alternative.
More than one mechanic and parts store person have told me there is a shop in the area that can repair high pressure hydraulic hoses. The company primarily repairs hoses that are used on Caterpillar like road grading equipment but will repair automotive hoses for cars where the hoses are no longer available. I'm sure that doesn't come cheap..

Great price Craig! ^^^^^^^^
I hate to whine about aftermarket hoses, but all I can say is... get used to it if you install one. That's all you'll hear when the hose takes over.
I have one for 5 years and I'm really considering buying a new OEM and throw away the junk that was installed. Between all the typical 4th gen rattling still, with so much suspension replaced and the whine, Postal is on the horizon!
Save yourself.... Go OEM!
