Strut Access Hole Plugs

Strut Access Hole Plugs
I've been looking for a way to close the strut mount access holes on a 4th gen for years. This is the first time that I've found a plug that seems to work.
So during a recent trip to the salvage yard, I found a set of vent hole plugs from trunk of a 4th gen that work great for plugging the strut access hole.
These are the 4th gen trunk plugs with the letters PVC stamped on the cover.
Note the strut mounts in the picture are the taller SE / T model OEM type. I'm not sure how this would work on a non-SE/T type mount.
If you happen upon a 4th gen in a salvage yard, grab a couple of the PCV trunk vent hole plugs and try them on the strut mount access holes.
Let's see how long these last.

They sure am purdy. And you didn't get me a set!
Too funny you repurposed something from the trunk for this.
Is that the I30 you're test fitting these on?
There's zero stress on them in this location, so they should last forever!
I've never experienced any corrosion without them in that Strut nut area. Is the "PVC" some sort of a code that has benefits, you can't talk about? LOL
Truthfully, they make the under the hood shots even prettier, so since everything you do is beautifully clean, this makes sense.
You always hold the bar high!
