I wonder if the back doors still function.

In the event of a roll over, I bet the structural integrity is gone. No way would this pass inspection.

I wanna see the tailgate function of it.

Didn't the trim with chrome handles come with alloy wheels? Maybe he had to swap in steelies at some point.

not neccesarily

Every Maxima came with chrome door handles except the SE. The base GXE with the steelies and the premium GLE with alloy wheels both had chrome handles.

In addition, almost every I30 came with chrome handles except a limited run of 99's that had body-color handles. They all had alloy wheels.

It's overpriced by about $1,000.

I can understand it being up north, having lived in Denver and seeing snow...but being the maxima is not a 4 wheel drive, it does not compare to a Subaru. It seems like that's what this person was aiming for, the Subaru look. But this is a MONSTROSITY. Plus Subarus of the same age SUCK in comparison to Maximas. Subarus are slopped up cheap plastic whose only benefit is getting out of deep snow. I don't know if it looks more like this or that picture...

I know Maxi already quoted you, but I can attest...when I bought my car from the previous owner, it had the original 15" steel wheels and original hubcaps. I have chrome outer door handles. But then, I also hated the plastic interior ones and swapped those out for the i30 chrome handles also

I didnt know Nissan and Infiniti were the same company until I bought the maxima. I don't regret my purchase because it was really in mint condition...but had I known, I probably would have went with the i30. Though I dont like the i30 grill and old school reae lights, I like the interior much more than the boring GXE center console. I had to add a DVD player and wood trim to prevent myself becoming so bored with the center console.

But like trump says, that Maxima crossover is a DISASTER lol.

Here's Renault Samsung SM5. Look familiar?

Sporty looking tail lights and hood ornament.

Now that's a country car. The light bar and the countryside look to me like they use it for spotlighting deer or something at night. It looks like a place where there would be some big old corn fed deer out for the taking.
