dek 280hp build questions

I have a question about the dek and power gains. i have just bought a dek to swap into my 98 maxima. i have obx-r headers-ypipe and 3 inch intake waiting to be installed but wanted to know how much hp i could pull out with the following setup before i just start slapping on parts

3.5 aggressive cams, adapter
hr spring, shimms
vk45 valves and retainers
3inch exhaust obx headers and y pipe
rev up oil pump
returnless fuel with adjustable fpr
timing advance
Nistune ecu
6 speed swap/light flywheel
and aluminum udp
3.5 inch intake with 300zx maf or maf delete

will this setup bring me within the 280 rage with a good tune on nistune

There is a seperate section of the main forum page called Advanced Performance. Chances are that some of the information you are looking for is there.

This section of the main forum is for maintenence and repair. Most of us dont mod our engines, so we are not familiar with what you want to do.

Good luck, best wishes.

Are you talking 280HP at the wheels, or at the crank?

If you're lucky, you'll just barely hit 280HP at the crank with those mods.

JvG, IMO he's in right spot. Most of his list doesn't qualify as "advanced performance".

ok what about dropping in a 05 04 3.5 with the same mods that should at least be 280 to the wheels no ?

That engine will yield 260HP at the crank, so less at the wheels.
