Last nite on my way home, my battery light and brake light came on. The last time this happened my drive belts had came off, but this morning I checked the belts and they were fine, my brake fliud is full, any one know what could be the culprit? Bad alternator? What about the brake light?

Either your battery or alternator is about to go. Get both of them tested.

Will do, I think it's the alt, cuz I changed the battery not too long ago.

Also when I was @ low rpms, the headligths would dim slightly.

Could also be the regulator or a bad connection. But the most likely culprit is the alt.

I believe the voltage regualator is bulid into the alternator on the 4th.

Yes, it is built in. But I beieve you can replace the regulator with out hte expense of a new alt. But, if the regulator is gone, you won't be able to test the alt. And you should be able to pull the alt and install replacement in under two hours. Maybe not much less, but a little.
