i have a 1996 Maxima, manual transmission, and I need to extract the ignition lock cylinder. With the covers near the steering wheel removed, I’m looking for a small tab to push in (while turning the key) so that the lock cylinder will slide out, but I can’t seem to find one. I don’t want to remove the lock assembly from the steering column. Can anyone tell me how to get the cylinder out?
