99 maxima gas leak

I posted awhile back and cant seem to fund my old post . So anyway 99 maxima with lots of gas leaking out , just pulled the fuel rail since we started it and didnt see any gas comming from anywhere but the from . One of the injector seals was ripped /messed up that the injector pushes into . The problem is now that the fuel rail is off we cant figure out what's leaking . This was a huge leak puddle under the car , had tons of smoke as well comming from the tail pipe . What should we do order pressure regulator ? I already ordered 6 bushings or whatever they are called that the injector pushes into .

Next step

The rubber injector rings came in. What else should I do/check before I connect the fuel rail back up to stop the leak ?

You should also replace the fuel line hoses.
They could leak eventually. Be sure that you buy fyel hose intended for fuel injection.

The fuel pump pressurizes the system. It will stay pressurized for some time after the key is turned off. Unless something is leaking of course.

Proper installation is the key to those o-rings not ripping. Use a little fresh oil and rub it along the o-rings and the fuel rail housing for the injector. Makes it easy to slide into place and not tear up those rings, which causes the leak.

If you run TCW-3 in your gas, it will keep those injector O-rings lubed and your injectors clean.
