Re: Difference

Compared to the 1995-1996, the 1997-1999 has a different front bumper, rear bumper, grill, taillights, trunklid, headlights, cornerlights, oxygen sensor in cat, longer exhaust, different wheel/tire packages, a different steering wheel, and much improved safety. Whatever else I am missing somebody correct me.

Did the dash and the white gauegs, digital odometer start on a 97. Or was it in 98? I am pretty sure 98 but just checking.

I think white gauge is across 95 to 99. The center armrest is different between 95~96 and 97~99, as well as the location for heated seat switches.

Digital odometer started in 98. The 97 is very unique. It has the freshened exterior and safety standards, but has the 95-96 dash cluster with white needles. 98 started with the digital odo and the red needles, and the fuel guage was moved to point "in" towards the speedometer instead of to the left. I believe 99 SE's had silver guages instead of white. Nissan called the color "platinum."

I also recall that the 97 has different radio controls for the BOSE unit, and a cupholder that holds cups more securely.

Yes starting 97 the front cup holder has a lid, and the rear ash tray was deleted (I think).
