Hello, Im about to swap in my 5 speed LSD and wanted to look over the procedure but the links I have for it no longer work, including in the stickies. Does anyone happen to have a good link for it or have it saved to a file they would be willing to share by chance. Thanks in advance!

 

Its the same procedure, all you have to do is change over the driver side axel since vlsd is different.

But it is being lost to time,it's a trove of knowledge.

I agree. I was just hoping maybe someone had saved it. I saved the link and always ment to print it out but by the time I got around to it the link no longer worked😡 Im fairly knowledgeable about this cars but just never done this to one. Guess I will just have to wing it.

 

I dont have a write up but i do know how to do it. I do have all the parts neccessary for the swap aswell. Post what your stuck on, on here and ill reply best as i can. To put it easy for you the hardest part is taking the dash apart to install the clutch pedal and wiring in the sensors on the pedal., if your swapping in 5 speed harness which is a good idea, that part isnt to fun either. Once you get passed those to parts its not to bad.

The bash part wont be a problem since I will be swapping the interior out for another car at the same time. I believe I have everything I need for the swap except for the wiring. I honestly didnt even know there was any wiring to be done. Im pretty good at that kind of thing so if you could just let me know what I need to do there that would be a huge help.

Yeah man i got a few engine harness along with ecus. So if you need a part that wont be a problem.
