I've been running se-r for years. I30t rear upper with headrests in the back.. I'm currently collecting all the rear seats and Console from the Elite Maxima. The rear Console is just #Dope. I just don't have all the pieces yet. This is in my 4th gen

Oh, and G35 seats. I forget what year/generation they came out of though. A quick search here on the Org should tell you.

We need more pictures, zoomed out, so we can see the entire front seats.

Are the I30 seats more comfortable than the Maxima ones? My gf finds the max seats (1996 GLE leather) pretty uncomfortable on long drives and I don't love them either.

I’ve been off the board forever, ever since I got the Q45, and pretty much fixed every part imaginable in the maxima (like a PlayStation game defeated lol).

but I changed all the seats, locks, and door trims from the i30s within my first year or 2 of getting my maxima back in 2012. All salvage finds. I even wanted to get the wood grain steering wheel, but at the time I didn’t know how to remove them. If I come across one (In salvage, of course) again, I’m definitely getting it..

I didn’t find the i30 seats to be any more comfortable. The 4th gen Maximas are a bit low and the seats are a bit smaller. The Q45 Infiniti (which is simply the next level up from the maxima, next the QX4 SUV) gives better leg room for taller people like me. The i30 seats are also stiffer and more prone to splitting (not the leather, but the stitching itself) in the middle.

however, the quality of the leather is better than the Q45. I’ve had 2 drivers seats in the Q45, and both had the dreaded peeling issue on the sides (Likely where they used faux/vinyl material). But the I30 and Q45 leather is superior than even the Maximas leather. So if you do a swap, go with Infiniti where you can. The 90s leather is even better than the 2000s crap that I have seen on some Infinitis. Idk how the 2020 newer ones are, but I’ve seen some 20 teens Infiniti’s with some very inferior (or probably just neglected) material.

I don't know about the factory Maxima leather seats, but I (and nearly all passengers I have carried in the car) find the factory cloth seats super comfortable for long-distance driving. Lack of side bolster support is pretty much the only thing that I find lacking and a bit of flattening of the DS bolster from entering/exiting the vehicle. No issues with wear/tear on the seats even with nearly150k miles on them. If you want aftermarket, Corbeau has a good selection with brackets that fit the car.
