Radiator cooling fans p

The cooling fans on my 97 Maxima are pushing air through the radiator...is this normal?? They are mounted between the engine an radiator?? Any information is appreciated

The fans should be pulling air from the front of the car through the radiator since they are mounted between the radiator and engine. Pusher fans would be mounted in front of the radiator.
