Great Diagnosis of multiple Maxima organ failure!

Diagnosing multiple problems with my Maxima:

Great neighbor and great mechanic does safety diagnosis and assessment of my old 1999 Maxima GLE in consideration of giving my daughter before donating it....expired tires, trunk lock repair, old muffler, oil leak, harmonic balancer falling off, hood struts failure, front damaged axles, engine and brake lights, oil leaks, radiator leak, open vacuum port notice, etc....it was running and passing inspection until balancer sheared off!

No problems which a fairly good hobby mechanic couldn't fix by himself. Perhaps a little professional help with the harmonic balancer.

All depends on why you are here.

Do you want help? You are in the right forum if you do.

I'm in NC and unfortunately don't even have a garage to work in. We were going to try to replace the radiator ourselves and this forum has been great for the repairs we have done over the years on both this and our subsequently sold 1995 GLE, but the subsequent problems (CV boots, questionable oil leak, muffler, among other thing) diagnosed now by 2 mechanics have us more than a little overwhelmed at the prospect. I thought the videos might at least help others! It's too bad because it only has 109k miles, all bezels and leather and plastic interior are intact, and the battery is new...
