Replace the amber part with a piece of transparent plastic. I used a florescent light cover from the hardware store. Please ignore the silver painted marker light reflector. You can do the trunk lights to match.

OP, these are simply "red/clears" in the Maxima world. It's a sad day when you can't even find basic stuff on Ebay like red/clear tailights for our beloved Maximas....
