I'm from brazil, i just bought a 1996 maxima,its my first car. i think brazillian models are the same as the australian ones, i bought it about a month ago, car got some problems, and the engine bay is really dirty, i dont really know how to clean it but thats off-topic. I think the engine is missing something? it looks like a throttle cable but i'm not sure, why would it have 2 throttle cables?

 

That would be for cruise control. Optional equipment in Brazil?
