So there’s this 2001 i30 in a pick a part within my town. I’ve heard the i30 was basically the maxima mechanically but the 2000-2003 i30 look pretty different from the previous years, would the parts still be compatible for my 98 maxima se?

 

For North America 95-99 is the A32 and 00-03 is the A33 for both the Maxima and I30/I35.

The 01 i30's engine is more or less the same except for the intake manifolds. You could use it to upgrade to an 00VI. All the body stuff is mostly different since it's an A33.
