dead car battery
dead car battery
ok - here's what happened......i was washing my car.....and waxing it afterwards for about 3 hours with the radio on. the radio wasnt blasting or anything like that - i just had it on(i couldnt hear it when the windows were pulled up). i finished......turned it off and left for like 2 hours ......come back and see the battery is dead...what i want to know is how long should i be able to keep the car in the "ON" position (engine still off) and play the radio(at a comfortable volume) before the battery gets too weak??? ( i have a 95 gxe, stock stereo, but the battery isnt the stock one, its only about a year old)

Depends on how much he drove it. He may not have driven enough for a full charge. Some batteries can develop a memory and once you've drained it are never the same.
