Replaced Water Pump - How long till next oil change?

As title states, finally replaced my water pump and assembled everything back up. Fresh fluids (coolant & oil) were added. Reusing old filter as it had less than 1k miles on it. How many miles should I drive before I do the next couple of oil changes? I looked through plenty of threads but can't find an actual change interval that is recommended. Less than 10 miles after the water pump install? 100? 1k? etc

If anyone has any recommendations, would really appreciate it. Taking out the car for its first drive later tonight and want to be at peace of mind.

Not certain why you’re thinking an off-normal interval oil change is needed in relation to a water pump replacement.

Thanks for replying. I figured an oil change after dumping significant amount of coolant after removing the water pump is necessary to flush out the remainder of the coolant inside the lower pan

If that’s you’re true concern then no interval is appropriate … change the oil now.

Better safe than sorry.

But (to qualify my previous question), neither the FSM nor the Haynes Manual advise or mention an oil change in association with a water pump removal and replacement.

For sure, was about to take out my car for a quick spin and noticed a pretty large wet area around the petcock area of my radiator. Went to tighten it and snapped the plug clean off. Its an aftermarket radiator from Autozone/ O' Reilys so having trouble sourcing the plug. Really beating myself up over this one
