95 SE vs 97 SE ........

Hey, what's up? I just raced my boy from work in his 95 SE 5 sp. He has an intake like me but he also has a Y-Pipe. I knew I would lose but I did it for the fun of it. We pulled up to this red light & said this is it. So, as it turns out.....he only beat me by a car length. My front bumper was @ his rear bumper @ 100 mph. Nothing I can be diappointed about.

Are you Auto or 5spd? If auto thats pretty good to keep that close to a 5spd up to 100mph. Especially since he has a y-pipe. Take Care

I think you should have lost by more than that myself , I have an auto , 95 being the fastest 4th gen maxima's.

If you did that well congrats get a y-pipe and run him again.
