300ZX OE Wheels and my 98 SE......

300ZX OE Wheels and my 98 SE......

I have a used set of 16in 300ZX wheels (with no tires) being sent to me. Hopefully they will fit... Does anyone know how wide these wheels are and what is a good tire size to fit on my stock 98 SE??

Are they non-turbo wheels? Those are either 16x7 or 16x7.5 (I can't remember which).

I have the 300ZX NT rims which are 16x7.5 & weight 16lbs each. Now the 300ZX TT comes with 16x8's in the rear which are 18lbs each & that is the only diff. Make sure you either hav ea full set of the NA rims or 4 of the front TT rims.

You can get away with 225 on both dif. width rims.

I believe they are non-turbo wheels, so they are all the same size, right? If they are off of a turbo then the only difference should be the rear wheels are wider, right? I looked up 300ZX tire replacements on the tire racks website. They show a 225/50-16 for the stock size replacement and a 205/45-16 for the "custom size". I wonder with my stock springs what tire size will not make my stock SE look more like a truck than it does now. I need springs BAD, but I need tires like yesturday.... Any suggestions?
