Another wheel wieght question...

Does anyone know what the stock aluminum 15 inch 4th gen GLE wheels weigh? I have done all the search configurations I can think of. I'm looking at aftermarket 16's but I definately do not want to get anything heavier than what I have now. I'm guessing the stock wheels are around 20 lbs? Has anyone done this already? I have a list of aftermarket weights so I know what those are. I'm trying to get a base to start from. Thanks.

The best way I know of doing that is to take off a rim/tire, weigh them, and try and find how much the tire weighs on the internet, subtract that from the rim/tire weight, and that ought to give you the wheel weight. Maybe somebody at a Nissan dealership would know? They probably have shipped some to somewhere, the package weight would give it away.

I agree with Xtreme5053 , BUT I disagree with you. I think your stock gle rims are in the 25 pound area. My stock 16 se rims were like 22 pounds.

I now have 18 inch konig toxxin's and they ARE lighter.

Shoot for a 16/17 pound rim and you should do fine
